Job Description
Summary
The key to growth is in a high-performance sales team! We’re seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first point of contact with prospects, ideal SDRs have a comprehensive understanding of our sales process and products, excel at researching leads, finding ideal customers, starting new relationships, and setting our sales team up for success.
The ideal candidate is outgoing in social situations and motivated by making connections. We’re looking for a quick learner with strong communication skills. We believe that understanding and empathizing with potential customers is key to showcase our products and services in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity to grow revenue, create new relationships, and broaden market reach.
This is a full-time work from home position. However, occasional travel may be required.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Brushfire products and services
Understanding and participating in consumer research to identify how our solutions meet customer needs
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospect and finding new potential sales outlets
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage the sales team for next steps
Utilize sales CRM, outbound lead generation tools, and cold calling to generate new sales opportunities
Build relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
Setup and facilitates sales screenings and virtual meetings between prospective customers and the sales team
Report to sales team lead with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably in church/non-profit technology
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Prior experience on a sales team with history of success in meeting sales goals
Strong desire to meet goals and move up within a sales organization
Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Proficiency with Hubspot preferred
Quiet and dedicated space to work at home during regular business hours

Compensation/Benefits/Perks
Compensation for this role starts at $50,000 per year (commensurate with experience).

Although we are a completely remote company, candidates closer to our teams in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas are preferred.
