Job Description

  • Provide direct application support on all client inquiries and issues in English and French
  • Assist clients by researching system problems and finding practical solutions to meet their requirements
  • Provide guidance to other team members in researching product issues and complex system queries
  • Determine appropriate action to resolve issues and forward recommendations both internally and to clients
  • Assist with configuration, month-end statement processes, weekend release support and other tasks as assigned
  • Provide internal and external training support on the Winfund suite of products
  • Understand and mitigate the impact of application changes on business processes
  • Research, document and accurately complete assigned tickets within designated timelines
  • Apply extensive diplomatic skills to deal with challenging client relationships
  • Special projects that are delegated by the manager and other duties as required
  • Investigate and accurately document system problems reported by clients

 

Qualifications

  • College Diploma, preferably in Business Administration and/or Computer/Software Engineering
  • Minimum two years financial/brokerage industry experience
  • Working knowledge of the Winfund suite of products would be an asset
  • Knowledge of accounting software packages for brokerage firms, order management systems and portfolio systems would be an asset
  • Intermediate experience with modern browsers, Windows 10, MS Office, SQL Server
  • Writing MS SQL scripts
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2019
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Successful completion of the CSC and/or IFIC Mutual Fund Operations course is an asset, or, industry recognized post-secondary courses (i.e. CSC)
  • Fully bilingual (French / English verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills while being detail-oriented
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, implementation and quality assurance methodologies is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adjust focus based on changing priorities
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
