Broadridge is growing! We are currently seeking a Tax Auditor Analyst to join our Tax department on a contract basis.
In this role, you are responsible for the auditing of the Tax Services Department’s output of various tax forms and tax statements to ensure they are completed accurately and timely. You may assist in the development of the policies and procedures of the tax audit validation process and completion of special projects / assignments as requested.
This is a temporary, contract role.
Perform an audit of different tax forms and tax statements to confirm they are complete and accurate. In addition, ensure they are compliant with the most recent tax codes / laws.
Identify any reportable issues and potential risks and communicate findings immediately to Management.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the tax audit validation process for new and existing procedures.
Support in the training of other staff members as needed and complete any special assignments / tasks as requested by Management in the expected time-frames given.
Conduct audit testing of the specified tax validation processes, completion of special projects / assignments as requested, analysis and it's interpretation.
Must be able to organize, prioritize and complete tasks within established time constraints, and interact closely with other departments within the organization.
Working knowledge of the various types of Tax Forms 1099/1042S and Income Reclassification process.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Usage of V-lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas and the creation and manipulation of spreadsheets, etc.)
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze information and draw sound, well documented conclusions.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at one time.
Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
