Job Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst will liaise with internal business units in support of delivering a superior end product to Broadridge customers. They will carry out policies and procedures to ensure that all information systems, products and services meet the organizational standards and end user requirements.

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities


  • Design, construct and implement test plans, test cases, and procedures for Broadridge products and system applications

  • Understand and research/troubleshoot issues related to the testing of changes for Dataphile products

  • Define and report defects or issues, and work with appropriate business units to resolve them

  • Participate in verification and validation of product enhancements and development through Functional, Integration, and Regression testing

  • Participate in the review of QA processes and procedures, and development of QA metrics, to assess the quality of the delivered code to Production

  • Suggest improvement to current procedures and testing tools for possible future development

  • Maintain all QA test environments in accordance with Broadridge standards

  • Co-ordinate the deployment of code to the appropriate QA environment

  • Understand and apply the required methodology where required: Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps

  • Participate in weekend support as required

  • Some travel may be required





  • University degree or community college diploma

  • Industry training in software development tools

  • Training in the software development life cycle methodology

  • Canadian Securities course, ISTQB certification and background in information systems are definite assets



  • 3-5 years of experience within the financial/brokerage industry

  • Broadridge experience in the Operations area of a brokerage/bank firm, Mutual Fund/MFDA, or Trust Company



  • Strong computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office suite products

  • Knowledge of the Broadridge suite of products is an asset

  • Ability to perform automated and manual testing using HP suite (ALM/UFT)

  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and LoadRunner
