We are looking for talented, ambitious and dedicated cloud software engineers with significant expertise in latest web and cloud application technologies to build the our Cloud Marketplace.

The candidate will participate in the architecture, design, development, deployment, testing and maintenance of the Cloud Marketplace. Candidates should be high-performing and enthusiastic software engineers able to work independently with demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. The candidate should be able to pick up new technologies and implement prototypes in a quick and timely fashion. The candidate must work well in a collaborative environment and be adaptable in taking on assignments that help in achieving the end goal of customer success.

You will design and develop large-scale systems leveraging a wide variety of open source and commercial technologies. • Experience in Java & J2EE (WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat) and JavaScript
• Experience with Linux (CentOS, Redhat or Ubuntu)
• Experience with the following technologies: Nagios, DHTML, CSS, DB2, SQL and noSQL databases, scripting with bash/sh, python, Perl
• Experience with Agile development tools (Rational Team Concert) and processes
• Experience with Web Content Management tools and Cloud platforms
• Experience with text search engines, data ingestion (Extract/Transform/Load)
• Experience with test driven development, automation, clustering/load balancing tools
• Effective leadership and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Knowledge of Social Enablement (Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, blogs)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
• Open to some travel as needed to meet with other internal teams and attend professional conferences
