Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources department. The HR Coordinator will play a vital role in maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize employee personnel files, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal requirements
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling, documentation preparation, and new hire paperwork processing
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, policy explanations, and employee inquiries
  • Support payroll processing by verifying timesheets, maintaining attendance records, and communicating with payroll department
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities
  • Maintain HR databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with performance review coordination and documentation
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable employment laws

 

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Experience in human resources, administrative support, or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with HR concepts, policies, and employment law basics

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) or HR databases
  • Experience coordinating recruitment or onboarding activities
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
