Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, the Human Resources Assistant is responsible for assisting and providing administrative support in the daily and operational management of human resources activities. 

Staffing (40%): 

  • Assist the Head of People and Culture in writing or updating job descriptions and postings; 
  • Participate in the recruitment process by posting positions, reviewing and screening resumes according to the desired profiles; 
  • Conduct telephone interviews and organize face-to-face interviews with the Head of People and Culture;
  • Coordinate orientation and integration sessions for new employees and prepare the integration planning; 
  • Prepare the documentation for the selected candidate.

Administration (40%): 

  • Take charge of administrative tasks (follow-up on individual employee files, mandatory declarations, work and study permits...) and general administrative support (printing, scanning of documents, organization of data and files...); 
  • Control all information necessary for the establishment of the payroll (absences, illnesses, work schedules...); 

  • Answer employees' questions; 

  • Enter data into our HR systems; 

  • Provide guidance to employees on the various procedures to follow; 

  • Produce various documents, emails or materials as needed; 

Others (20%): 

  • Participate in the organization of activities and events for employees; 
  • Provide support to the Head of People and Culture in various projects; 

  • Any other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • AEC or DEP in administration or human resources (or equivalent); 
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience;
  • Intermediate computer skills;
  • Expertise in the retail industry (an asset);
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in French; 
  • Knowledge of English (an asset)

This is a permanent part-time position (20-25 hours per week) to be filled as soon as possible. This is an on-site position.
