Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Technician to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance and operational efficiency. This role involves meticulously managing critical quality data, maintaining ISO 9001 compliant documentation, and actively driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and monitor all ISO 9001 documentation, including Work Procedure Instructions (WPIs), internal audit records, and measurement system information.
- Investigate customer complaint issues, collect relevant data, update the customer complaint tracker, and report daily findings and corrective actions to the Quality Manager.
- Accurately update and monitor key performance indicators for Distribution Quality, Sales Quality, Customer Service Level 2, and the Customer Query System.
- Maintain and daily monitor the SIA Master Data spreadsheet for accuracy and completeness.
- Regularly update QA boards with critical safety, KPI, and quality-related information.
- Conduct thorough inspections of inventory related to customer complaints or internal failures.
- Develop and implement daily housekeeping plans to oversee and maintain cleanliness in designated areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred: An Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Finance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and a basic understanding of SAP, JDA / Blue Yonder, or similar WMS systems.
- Foundational knowledge of Production Planning, Materials Management, and MRP (Materials Requirements Planning).
- Familiarity with quality principles such as ISO, BPS, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen.
- Strong logical problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with excellent problem-solving and resolution skills.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively with strong communication, collaboration, and moderation skills.
- Ability to influence and work effectively with all levels of management and cross-functional teams within the facility.
- Advanced analytical skills, including experience in collecting, organizing, and accurately disseminating abundant information.
- Ability to work overtime on weekdays and weekends, as needed.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $26.94 - $32.96 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
