Job Description

Responsible for a software component in the Airbag product with the mission saving life.
The main tasks of this role are deriving architecture design proposals meeting the customers' requirements and expectations, communicating design decisions and strategies to the development team, guiding and coaching the development team.
Responsibility

  • Create software architecture design model (static-and dynamic-)
  • Monitor and report software quality metrics
  • Prepare SW-Change Control Board
  • Create software configuration variants
  • Analyze defect root cause and impact
  • Documentation of the design and implements the specified functionality according to the SW design specification 
  • Responsible for µC resource targets (runtime, memory)
  • In cooperation with team in Viet Nam, India, Germany and customer in Japan through product life cycle.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as embedded developer role.
  • Bachelor or higher degree (Computer Science , Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication).
  • Good at C programming language and Micro controller/Embedded System.
  • Good process knowledge (process concerning requirements management, change management, configuration management, peer review and the relevant engineering processes of the V model).
  • SW Architecture knowledge
  • SW Design knowledge
  • Exposure to Test Methodology, ECU Test Environments.
  • Good teamwork, interpersonal skill, analytical thinking.
  • Familiar with Agile methodology.
  • Experienced working with CAN, UDS protocol is advantage.
  • Experienced working with CI/CD is advantage.
  • Demonstrated engineering background ( minimum 4+ years) developing embedded software
  • Languages: Good Competencies in spoken and written English
  • Passion for automotive engineering.
  • Team player with good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
