Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic Logistics and Supply Chain team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in optimizing our supply chain operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring seamless coordination across cross-functional teams. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by analyzing complex logistics processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven solutions that enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
The purpose of this role is to optimize and enhance the efficiency of logistics and supply chain operations through the analysis of relevant data and enhance transparency and quick decision for the team with necessary digital tools.
- Analyze supply chain processes and logistics operations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including procurement, production planning, distribution, and customer service to understand process weaknesses and develop standardized logistics practices
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on supply chain performance metrics, service level failures, and root cause analysis to support informed decision-making
- Support the development and execution of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) initiatives in coordination with sales teams, product managers, and manufacturing plants
- Lead process improvement initiatives by driving continuous improvement methodologies and ensuring implementation of corrective actions across the supply chain
- Develop and maintain supply chain dashboards and analytics tools to track key performance indicators and provide real-time visibility into operational metrics
- Coordinate with inventory planners and customer service teams to prioritize and escalate supply chain issues requiring management attention
- Prepare and deliver management presentations on supply chain performance, highlighting trends, risks, and recommended actions
- Support customer-specific projects and logistics agreements by acting as an interface between customer requirements and internal supply chain operations
- Participate in process automation and data automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 4-5 years experience in data analytics.
- At least 1 year experience of working in supply chain or handling supply chain projects.
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft SQL / Power BI and Database Management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Proficient in data science and machine learning.
- Proficient in project management methodologies.
- Proficient in analyzing complex data sets, identifying patterns and drawing meaningful insights.
- Proficient in programming languages commonly used for data analysis, such as Python or R.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and various organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to think in processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Proficiency in supply chain planning tools, ERP systems, and data analysis software
- Problem-solving orientation with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and end-to-end process design
- Basic understanding of supply chain management principles and processes.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Masters degree in Data Science/Statistics.
- Experience in the automotive or consumer products industry
- Proficiency with SAP, APO, or similar enterprise resource planning systems
- Knowledge of process automation and data automation technologies
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Project management experience in a complex organizational environment
