Job Description

As a Security Manager, this role is responsible for leading and coordinating comprehensive physical security measures to safeguard the company’s locations, assets, employees, and inventory. The position ensures full alignment with the company’s Physical Security Management System (PSMS) and compliance with Robert Bosch directives.

The role focuses on proactively identifying risks, implementing effective security and loss prevention strategies, and maintaining robust protection systems across assigned sites. Through regular audits, incident response coordination, collaboration with local authorities, and continuous improvement of security programs, this position plays a critical role in minimizing business impact and strengthening the organization’s overall security posture.

Responsibilities 

  • Analyze, Implement and Enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with the overall company Physical Security Management System (PSMS).
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement, implement corrective measures, and reduce the business impact in compliance and in accordance with Bosch directives.  
  • Development and implementation of security and loss prevention programs to improve the respective sites’ performance. 
  • Respond to security breaches, emergencies, or incidents and coordinate appropriate responses. 
  • Investigate security incidents, document findings, and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 
  • Assessment & Implementation of physical security measures, such as private security services and security systems (CCTV & IDS).
  • Update the data concept in accordance with industry security standards for local sites. 
  • Establish local awareness programs on crime prevention. 
  • Initiate and maintain a good collaboration with the respective local authorities at the assigned locations.

    Qualifications

    • HS diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in military, law enforcement, and/or corporate security management.
    • Experience at a manufacturing or warehouse facility.
    • Training and/or certification in Security Management, Physical Security, Project Management, and/or Investigations from recognized professional bodies (i.e. ASIS, IFPO, ACFE).
    • Good presentation skills.
    • Good teambuilding, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
    • Customer-oriented mindset.
    • Strong knowledge of security systems, procedures, and emergency response protocols. 
    • Strong communications skills. Both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision, solve problems intuitively and find new solutions.  
    • Proven success in collaborating across functions.
    • Basic computer skills (i.e. MS Office suite).
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
    • Travel up to 50%
