The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our Esperance team as a Customer Service Officer/Storeperson. BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

This exciting dual role will offer you variety each day. Depending on the daily requirements of the branch, the role would see you working in our sales office, assisting our customers with their quotes and enquiries in addition to operating a forklift to unload our incoming deliveries and load our products ready to be despatched to customers.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity working Monday-Friday. What Will You Do?

Joining an inclusive and cohesive team, you will be provided full training to be competent in this role. You will:

  • process and manage customer orders, quotes and enquiries face to face, online and over the phone
  • follow-up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
  • nurture and grow relationships with customers 
  • operate a forklift to unload and load trucks for customer deliveries
  • general warehousing duties
