Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business in our Customer Service team in Geelong as a Customer Service Team Leader. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy office environment, demonstrate your passion for exceptional customer service while leading a team.

In this exciting and brand-new role, you will lead and manage a team of up to 5 Customer Service Representatives and develop a highly capable customer service team, adding value by consistently servicing customer needs and expectations through self and direct reports. You will be the critical link in the relationship between our customers and the response of the business to address their needs. We encourage applicants from different industries and backgrounds; no previous steel experience is required. You will champion exceptional service for our diverse homeowner and builder clientele. At our Geelong site, we supply a wide array of premium building products highly valued in the construction sector. Our products include COLORBOND® steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater goods, solutions such as fascia & gutter systems and home improvements such as fencing, carports and patios. We also have structural solutions that include purlins, BONDEK® and custom flashings.

Working Monday to Friday, this is a full-time permanent role with work hours from 9am to 5pm.

What Will You Do?

Displaying high levels of initiative along with well-developed people management skills, administration, problem solving and time management abilities, you will undertake the following:

  • show a commitment to a strong positive team culture
  • identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives
  • ensure that daily interaction with customers is of a high standard
  • maintain and enhance relationships with internal and external customers
  • provide timely service to all customers, including quotes, order fulfillment and order management
  • coordinate orders and review availability of products, whilst supporting external sales teams and branches
