Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects. Our customers consist of both homeowners and builders seeking a diverse range of our premium products and solutions. Being a Customer Service Representative, you’ll embody the friendly voice our customers rely on, leaving a lasting impression with every interaction. 


This is a permanent part-time opportunity and working hours and days are flexible upon negotiation. We also offer the possibility of a job share arrangement, supporting your work-life balance in a way that best suits you!

What Will You Do?

Working with a friendly and inclusive team, you will be a key contact for sales and service enquiries. This will see you: 

  • providing personalised assistance to customers, handling inquiries and quotes via phone and email
  • nurturing leads by following up on quotations and inquiries, converting them into rewarding sales opportunities
  • partner closely with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse, and sales teams to exceed customer expectations. This involves managing product specifications, customised packaging, and delivery timetables
  • nurturing and growing relationships with customers to uncover new business opportunities and foster enduring partnerships
  • be part of a team that champions innovation, empowering you to enhance internal processes and enrich our value proposition

With your warm and empathetic demeanour and eagerness to grow and develop in this role, you will bring:

  • exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • the ability to influence and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • problem-solving skills and ability to liaise with management and relevant teams on a range of matters
  • demonstrated computer literacy, with experience in data entry and MS Office
