The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our Albany team as a Senior Customer Service Officer.  Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands. 

In this customer-facing role, you will build strong partnering relationships with our valued customers and support our branch by managing enquiries that come via walk-in’s, phone and/or email. We’ll provide intensive on-the-job product training to assist with managing our customer’s enquiries. There will be opportunities to visit our customers to enhance their overall experience with us.  As a self-motivated, quick thinker, you quickly adapt and can juggle more than one task at any given time. You also enjoy being busy and working in a supportive team environment. 

This is a permanent full-time position, the hours of work being 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

What Will You Do?

Being the face of Orrcon for our customers, you will also be required to:

  • prepare and follow up customer quotes and processing sales through SAP 
  • provide internal support and regular feedback to our network with customer and competitor information via Salesforce
  • resolve issues and seek ways to improve the customer’s experience
  • arrange specific customer delivery requests
  • general administration tasks as required
