The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join the Service Integration team as a ServiceNow Administrator in our IT function. Information Technology at BlueScope have embarked on an exciting enterprise technology transformation, supporting our business and customers now and for the future. 

The role of the ServiceNow Administrator is to ensure that the ServiceNow platform is aligned to our business and customer needs. In this highly technical position, you will collaborate with cross functional IT colleagues and work with our external service providers consistently reviewing, maintaining, and upgrading the platform.
This role is based in Mount Waverley VIC.
 

What Will You Do?

You will contribute to our IT service delivery success by enabling our internal customers to have a positive experience when using and interacting with our IT platforms.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Develop and lead ServiceNow upgrades
  • Assist IT Product Owners in identifying and developing new ServiceNow applications and services that will improve IT Service Delivery
  • Develop material and implement training to ensure effective use of ServiceNow Applications
  • Complete general platform administration activities - manage user groups, workflow mapping and patch management
  • Effectively perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/remediation
  • Effectively contribute to the ServiceNow platform roadmap, providing technical guidance on the product capabilities.

You will have a self-starter attitude with extensive knowledge of ServiceNow and you will have managed external service providers. We are looking for someone who is a team player, passionate about the customer experience and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will have:

  • An understanding of the complexities and challenges of a large organization
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and customers including service providers
  • Experience of regularly reviewing service levels to identify improvement opportunities
  • Experience of working within Agile methodologies
  • A good understanding of Application development lifecycle
  • A good understanding of data flow, CMDB and CSDM
  • A tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline
  • ServiceNow System Administration training/certificate
