The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Commercial team in our BlueScope Building Components business as a Pricing Representative. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys. 

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will assist with pricing activities to enable the Sales Team to focus on selling while they are on the road. Your tasks will vary across a range of office activities that will result in improving response times to our customer base - including the preparation of quotes, pricing assistance, product code and credit processing.

This opportunity is available on a 12 month fixed term contract with the flexibility of work location. You can be based at our Lyndhurst, Campbellfield or Geelong sites. 

What Will You Do? 

Your responsibilities and deliverable’s will include:

  • address pricing related queries and ensure they are actioned from the Team Inbox
  • maintaining customer and project pricing data into the system
  • assisting with pricing administrative duties
  • provide pricing support to external sales team

More About You 

To succeed in this role you will enjoy juggling multiple tasks and stakeholders as well as have a high degree of confidentiality and integrity while you work within the smaller and larger teams. Ideally you will also possess multiple of the below attributes:

  • experience in similar pricing, administration and/or office support environment;
  • professional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • sound computer competency and understanding of Microsoft Office suite (eg Excel/Outlook); and
  • ability to work autonomously and with others across different business levels.
  • strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
