The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Electrical Maintenance Team as an Electrical Maintenance Leader – Motors, at our Western Port Manufacturing facility in Victoria.

The role of the Electrical Maintenance Leader - Motors is to supervise, lead and develop a team maintaining electrical assets and plant equipment across our Western Port site

This role is based in Western Port, VIC

What Will You Do?

In this key role, you will lead an Electrical maintenance team comprising of permanent and contract workforce to execute the asset maintenance strategy and ensure the day to day smooth running and reliability of plant motors and equipment. You will provide expertise bringing your specialist knowledge in the field of AC and DC Motors.

To achieve this, you will:

• Provide mentoring and coaching to the asset maintainers
• Contribute to the preparation of motor maintenance budget and the development of asset management plans
• Drive improvement in the planning, scheduling, resource utilization and execution of work
• Conduct regular safety audits       
• Assist in the development and execution of an appropriate solution release and implementation strategies.

More About You

With your demonstrable leadership experience in an industrial workplace you will also have:

• Experience in heavy industry manufacturing environment
• A clear track record of continuous improvement
• A demonstrated ability to manage personal and team safety
• An A grade licence
• Sound understanding of AC & DC Motors and Motor Control Systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
