The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Kiteley’s business as an Estimator. For more than 50 years, the Kiteley’s name has been synonymous in steel roofing. From its foundation in the Shoalhaven area in 1957, it has grown to serve clients ranging from individual homeowners to leading project home builders and industrial and commercial property developers throughout NSW.

Join our collaborative estimating team that focusses on residential roofing and re-roofing that converts roofing estimates to quotes. Working closely with our internal sales and customer service teams, you will provide estimating expertise so that our customers can build and create great structures. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Estimator to join our successful team in supporting Kiteley’s estimating, quoting and procurement functions.

This role could be located in either Bomaderry or Newcastle.

What Will You Do?

Working with our friendly and diverse team, you will:

  • review building plans and engineering drawings - provide guidance on the design concept and develop estimates and quotes
  • monitor customer trends and seek ways to improve the customer’s experience
  • adopt a continuous improvement approach to processes and systems

More About You

You will have experience in estimating or drafting, or have a building or trades background. You will be a quick learner who is comfortable with numbers, technical drawings and computer based applications.  You will bring:

  • high level of attention to detail
  • experience in estimating in ArchiCAD or similar software or a willingness to learn
  • a genuine interest in providing customers great service
  • good process management and organisational skills
  • excellent skills in Microsoft Office
