The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our ENDUROFRAME® team as a Software Tester.  BlueScope is a pioneer of the steel framing industry and as such was one of the first companies to introduce an integrated Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacture (CAD/CAM) house framing system. 

Working in an agile environment, you will be part of an innovative team ensuring the testing and software is continuously reviewed and improved for our customers, now and for the future.  You will design and execute tests, automating them to increase the effectiveness and quality of the software.

What Will You Do?

Working with a supportive team that delivers quality work via an agile iterative process, you will:

  • prepare test reports, report on defects, investigate and reproduce reported issues
  • develop code to rectify issues and work as part of a team developing a cutting-edge CAD program writing code in C#/.NET as well as C/C++
  • set up and operate infrastructures such as remote servers, AWS, and Azure
  • work with our internal and external users to understand important factors such as software usability, functionality and design

More About You

As an experienced Software Tester having worked in an agile environment, you will bring:

  • experience with the DevOps process and understanding of automated testing methodologies and software building procedures
  • expertise in automated testing tools such as Test Complete, Protractor, Selenium or similar
  • experience in Unit, Integration, Functional and Regression testing
  • the ability to clearly articulate testing requirements with programmers, key software users and infrastructure teams
  • the ability to produce high-quality testing and written documentation
