The Mechanical Maintenance Leader is a key role within the Manufacturing Team and is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of the asset maintenance strategy. This role leads a team consisting of planning specialists, technical specialists, asset maintainers and contract resources as required. The Maintenance Leader drives improvement in the processes of planning, scheduling, technical investigation and work execution.

The Mechanical Maintenance Leader provides mentoring and coaching to Planning and Technical Specialists as well as Asset Maintainers, facilitates change management, contributes to the preparation of annual maintenance budget and the development of the asset management plan.

We require someone who is innovative with the ability to provide ideas for strategic opportunities, process improvements and team leadership whilst driving projects to ensure that solutions are implemented efficiently and effectively within a Lean Manufacturing environment.

Your leadership skills with the ability to effectively interact and manage multiple stakeholders and team members will be the key to success within this role. We are looking for someone who is action-orientated, who will drive for results as well as have the initiative to make things happen and implement positive changes.

With comprehensive technical capability accompanied by your project management experience it will be instrumental in understanding the complexities whilst seeking out opportunities within this manufacturing environment.  If you’re are Mechanical Fitting Trade qualified or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications or equivalent, we want to hear from you!
