Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Key Market Account Manager focusing on our customers in the Adelaide metropolitan and some regional areas.  You will work closely with the Business Development Manager to continue to grow revenue, margin and market share, and grow existing accounts.  This role will primarily have a focus on the aluminium market, however, will also include plate and coil. 

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Manage, protect and grow existing strategic accounts in target market segments;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic intent for accounts and territories;
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in key market accounts; and
  • Ensure effective price management for key accounts is in line with the strategic intent. 

Who are we looking for?

Key to this role is your previous experience in key account management and business development, with a proven ability to develop and execute a targeted, end-to-end sales-growth strategy. You will have the following experience and competencies:

  • effective skills in communication, selling, negotiating, customer relationship management, customer value propositions and contract management;
  • ability to successfully work in teams to engage, influence and maintain productive customer and internal stakeholder relationships across all levels; and
  • commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing/margin and its impact on profitability.
