Job Description

BlueScope has manufacturing and distribution centres in numerous locations and in Emu Plains we service a large and active market by supplying a diverse range of quality building products that are highly valued by the construction/building sector.  Our products include Colorbond© steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater goods, solutions such as fascia & gutter systems and home improvements such as fencing, carports and patios. We also have structural solutions including purlins, Bondek and custom flashings for all uses, just to name a few.

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to work in our customer service call centre.  The main responsibilities include but is not limited to:

  • Processing and managing customer orders, quotes and enquiries over the phone;
  • Providing ad hoc support to the sales team and within the customer service team;
  • Maintaining and enhancing relationships with internal and external customers; and
  • Having high attention-to-detail and accountability ensuring positive impact to the business.

The working hours of this role is Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, where at times due to coverage and staff absences the workings hours may change to support shifts starting at 6am.

Who are we looking for?

This position will suit customer services professionals that have strong customer service experience in a call centre environment. Knowledge of construction or building products would be advantageous but is not essential as we will provide all the training and support that you will need. 

You will need to enjoy working in a fun yet busy environment, have good communication skills, and have a friendly, can-do attitude. Applying the highest safety practices and a commitment to building a career with us is essential.
