At BlueScope Building Components (BBC), we are renowned for our delivery of high quality and innovative customer solutions through our market leading brands including Lysaght and Fielders. We use 100% Australian Steel Products and are an integral part of BlueScope – Australia’s largest steelmaker.

BlueScope has manufacturing and distribution centres in numerous locations and in Gawler, South Australia we service a large and active market by supplying a diverse range of quality building products that are highly valued by the construction/building sector.  Our products include COLORBOND© steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater goods, solutions such as fascia and gutter systems; and home improvements such as fencing, carports, sheds and patios. We also have structural solutions including purlins, Kingflor and custom flashings for all uses, just to name a few.

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (12-month fixed term contract) to work in our branch assisting our clients and customers with:

• Maintain and manage relationships across the business;
• Create sales opportunities through passive and proactive selling;
• Process customers’ orders and communicate customer requirements accordingly;
• Assist to ensure efficient and effective processes and procedures are implemented and maintained;
• Develop and maintain relationships with other business functions; and
• Ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and systems updated accordingly.

Who are we looking for?

This position will suit customer services professionals that have customer facing experience. Knowledge of construction or building products would be advantageous but is not essential as we will provide all the training and support that you will need.
