Job Description

Reporting to the Branch Manager in Bendigo, VIC, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join a great team. You will lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve company goals and objectives in a safe and efficient manner, as well as assisting your team when required.

Supervising around six employees, you will be focused on delivering exceptional service, developing strong working relationships with all internal/external stakeholders and championing safety policies whilst ensuring that housekeeping is maintained to the highest level.

You will play a key role in building and sustaining an effective team that is capable of producing desired business results, ensuring warehouse resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively to achieve despatch and processing targets.

We are looking for a true leader with exceptional communication and organisational skills. You will have demonstrated experience in the effective management of a team and the ability to manage change within a frontline operational environment.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Safely deliver the outputs expected in the Bendigo and State business plan on a day-to-day, week-to-week measurement basis;
  • Support and mentor your team to grow and develop in knowledge, skills and experience;
  • Uphold, support and comply with all legislative, regulatory and safety requirements, procedures, policies and accountabilities;
  • Lead the team in a commitment to standard work and continuous improvement, to ensure operational procedures and processes are clear, unambiguous, and understood by all;
  • Analyse freight to ensure customer schedules are achieved by effectively managing output, quality, internal stock transfers and delivery performance; and
  • Lead the team and assist management in ensuring safety and environmental responsibilities are met in the workplace.
