Job Description

The Customer Service Team Leader provides day to day leadership and direction to our team of Customer Service Representatives and Counter Sales Consultants. They are the senior ‘go-to’ that is responsible for ensuring all customer transactions are processed for delivery in full and on time to the customers satisfaction.

They are responsible for providing personal and direct heightened support to our top tier clients and help develop and implement policies and procedures to reduce internal errors.

The Customer Service Team Leader has no direct reports but needs to be able to monitor, guide and influence the Customer Service and Counter Sales team, to ensure that our customers are provided with exceptional customer experiences every day, every time.

The position will see you work closely with the:

  • Customer Service Manager
  • Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Account Managers
  • Operations and Transport Teams

 And many other areas of our business as required

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal person will have experience providing high level customer service support, is able to foster an inclusive working environment and willing to become a subject matter expert on our products and processes.

Prior experience supervising or managing people is not a requirement however a minimum two years of customer support in a contact centre or customer service environment is essential.  You must be flexible to work between the hours of 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Preference may be given to people that have building supplies or manufacturing experience however if you believe that your skills and knowledge is transferable we encourage you to apply.
