We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Manager to join our commercial team.  You will apply your expertise in credit management operations to all components of the national credit team. You will also lead working capital maximisation while driving robust risk mitigation across the debtors’ portfolio. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Provide effective leadership for the credit operations team, in their delivery of processes such as fundamental credit application and standard credit control;
• Deliver continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence outcomes;
• Offer technical credit expertise to our businesses, concerning high-volume trade debtors;
• Ensure robust credit-account terms and credit-limit management, through the delivery of quality analysis and reporting; and
• Administer quick solutions for all customer claims and disputes, in collaboration with key business stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

Key to this role is your agility in working across a very diverse business and customer base, along with your supportive leadership and ability to drive team performance and collaboration. 

You will have experience in the following:

• experience handling a debtors’ ledger >$100m;
• demonstrated experience in customer risk management;
• demonstrated experience in Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence platform;
• sound knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs; and
• tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or AICM affiliation with substantial experience in credit management.
