What is the role?

Lysaght has manufacturing and distribution centres in numerous locations and in Emu Plains we service a large and active market by supplying a diverse range of quality building products that are highly valued by the construction/building sector.

Reporting to the Loading Supervisor you will provide support in managing and guiding staff in their day to day duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Loading Supervisor this position will provide autonomous leadership and Guidance to the team
• Ensure safety and company standards and guidelines are always followed;
• Assist coordinating work schedules so customer product orders and deliveries are being be met and on time
• Play a lead role in manual loading of trucks;
• Ensure  load capacity and size and volume will fit ; and
• Lead staff in an autonomous manner in the absence of the Loading Supervisor.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and autonomous individual with despatch experience, preferably in steel products. As the successful candidate, you will have loading experience and knowledge in the production and supply process.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Commitment to safety, quality and people;
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills to influence others;
• Dedication to production and customer service excellence;
• Ability to problem solve and deal with ambiguity;
• Forklift licence and experience
