Job Description
Position will be remote, but supporting the government client based out of Sterling, VA and Washington D.C. The Stack Developer position will have a wide range of responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for conducting the developer activities and functions necessary for the efficient and effective operation of major capital projects for the Division. The stack developer may provide support for more than one large capital projects simultaneously and will work collaboratively with the other staff within the Division. Responsibilities shall include assisting in the establishment of priorities and management of time within constraints.
Qualifications
*Candidate MUST have this qualifications listed below to be considered.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Three or more years of solid coding, programming work experience
- Must live in the United States
- Experience building websites using JS frameworks such as Angular(v2+)
- Experience building applications using Java, Spring, and JavaScript
- Experience with Relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL (Oracle is fine as well)
Additional Information
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 1-3 years of experience in open-source web development
- Experience building websites using JS frameworks such as Angular(v2+) and React
- Experience building applications using Java, Spring, JSON, and JavaScript
- Experience with automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
- Experience in Test Driven and Behavior Driven Development frameworks
- Ready to embrace a fast-paced work environment with deadlines and new challenges
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline
