Job Description

Our Fortune 100 financial services client is seeking two experienced Technical Business Analysts to support a large-scale credit card processor integration project within their banking partner ecosystem. This role will focus on capturing and documenting both business and technical requirements, mapping current and future-state processes, and ensuring seamless alignment between business operations and technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional with experience in credit card servicing and processing who can bridge communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for credit card processing systems.
  • Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and comprehensive process flow diagrams (business and technical).
  • Map current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes related to credit card servicing and transaction processing.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Support testing activities by reviewing test cases to ensure alignment with documented requirements.
  • Maintain project documentation according to organizational or PMO standards.
  • Gather and define non-functional requirements, including system performance, scalability, and data quality.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, with exposure to credit card operations or processor integrations.
  • Proven experience in documenting processes and technology requirements for enterprise-scale initiatives.
  • Strong skills in process mapping using BPMN, Visio, or Lucidchart.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and technology implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business, IT, and vendor teams.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to break down complex problems into actionable insights.
  • Clear, concise writing and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on documentation quality.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $40-45 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
