Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Engineering who will lead us into the future, with huge data sets that are due to exponentially grow this is an amazing opportunity to grow and lead a team, work with a product that solves a massive problem for millions of people around the world. Specific tech stack experience isn’t necessary, we are looking for someone who can quickly understand our current platform and build a strategy for growth - including which tech change is necessary and where.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a team of ambitious engineers to be the best they can be

  • Work on establishing production timelines

  • Develop product solutions with the engineering team

  • Use project management tools to align and track performance over time

  • Help develop, empower and support individuals in your team

  • Ability to solve problems without ego

  • End to end product ownership

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience

  • Strong proficiency with modern tech stack (specifics don’t matter)

  • Experience with various development workflows, testing and version control tools.

  • Understanding of and sensitivity to visual design requirements and basic principles of user interface design

  • Track record leading a team to success
