About the Demand Product Team

The Demand Product team’s mission is to make BlaBlaCar the GoTo app to book a long distance shared ride. We’re building the whole experience for our passengers from the moment they look for a trip to the end of it. We’re looking at topics such as Acquisition, SEO, Search experience or Booking. We aim at making all of those the most efficient and simple experiences possible. 

About the Whitelabel solutions team

In Emerging markets (Russia, Ukraine or Brazil) to support the bus market transition from offline to online we are providing Bus operators and Bus stations, in addition to an access to BlaBlaCar demand, specific solutions to sell by themselves their tickets.  We build dedicated websites relying on a common architecture for all operators and they are called “Whitelabel”.  In those markets they represent one of the most important shares of tickets we sell online.

About the Role

As the Product Manager for Whitelabel solutions, you’ll be responsible for the associated products that support those solutions in all our regions. You’ll have to build the future of that product, the internationalization approach and make sure they are as efficient as possible while being close to BBCar main product. You will own the full scope from the strategy definition to the roadmap and shipping features.

Examples of challenges:

• How do we have one single stack and product to manage Whitelabel around +5 countries?

• How do we design a Whitelabel product close to BBCar main one while being adapted to bus operators' needs? 

• How do we migrate some of those Whitelabel to BBCar's main product?

The engineering team working on Whitelabel solutions is mostly based in RU yet they serve all our markets. This position is based in our Product & Engineering hub in Kyiv, Ukraine. The key stakeholder of this position will be the B2B Product Management team which is based there hence this localization. 

What you will directly contribute to

• Gather insights about our users and translating them into actionable opportunities that would improve our product

• Define the vision, strategy, and associated ambition for our Whitelabel product, hand-in-hand with our team managing relationships with bus operators

• Build the associate roadmap to deliver it

• Partner with Engineering, Product Data, and Product Design team within a team to execute the roadmap

• Communicate on the team plan and achievements within BlaBlaCar

What you will need to be successful:

• +5 years of experience in product-driven organizations, delivering highly successful products

• Interest in working close to B2B activities and at ease with B2B relationship management

• At ease working in an very international environment, as our product & engineering teams are based France, Ukraine, and Russia

• Ability to play with data

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Humility and excellent listening skills

• Fluency in English and Russian
