About This Role:

As the Senior Medical Manager for Turkey, you will spearhead our medical strategy, ensuring our Biogen portfolio meets the specific needs of the region. You'll provide invaluable insights, tailoring approaches to resonate with local opportunities and align with our product strategy. In this pivotal role, you'll offer technical support and lead medical communications, fostering relationships with internal and external partners. Your contributions are key to our collaborative matrix, driving initiatives that reflect our commitment to patient well-being and healthcare innovation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development of medical strategies within Turkey, integrating local insights
  • Partner across functions to create and implement medical plans addressing patient needs
  • Collaborate on medical value demonstration for external stakeholders
  • Drive medical product tactics alongside cross-functional teams
  • Offer strategic input on late-stage and near-launch therapies
  • Advise on early phase and phase IV clinical operations and IIT support
  • Manage medical activity budgets and contribute to planning processes
  • Establish and nurture scientific relationships with key healthcare professionals
  • Coordinate medical reviews to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    • Advanced degree in a scientific or clinical field (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent)
    • At least 5 years of experience in Pharma (Medical Affairs) or a clinical setting
    • In-depth knowledge of Turkey's healthcare landscape; international experience a plus
    • (Preferred) Expertise in neurology or immunology
    • (Preferred) Familiarity with clinical research and drug development
    • (Preferred) Insight into local healthcare regulations
    • Proven relationship-building capabilities with a diverse range of stakeholders
    • Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accountability
    • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, with a results-driven attitude
    • Proficiency in English and Turkish, both spoken and written

    Preferred Skills:

    • Strategic planning experience
    • Educational program development expertise
