Job Description
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will support the upkeep of our Malta office through both reactive and planned maintenance.
A proficient maintenance professional with experience across multiple disciplines, ready to ensure our building is maintained to the highest standards.
Maintaining our building to the highest standards is a key priority. You will play a vital role in upholding Health and Safety Executive (HSE) building compliance legislation. Your experience will span multiple maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, decorating and general repairs to the building infrastructure. Experience working within facilities management of commercial buildings is a significant advantage, as this aligns closely with the demands of maintaining essential building services. You are required to work Monday to Friday alongside providing an on-call service which operates on a rota basis, and overtime is also required on weekends for critical works.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in multiple maintenance disciplines.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), risk assessments and permits to work.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of fire equipment, such as fire doors and extinguishers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Capacity to prioritise tasks with a flexible approach to working.
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Additional Information
- Completing a full range of general maintenance duties to a high standard.
- Performing reactive and pre-planned maintenance works.
- Providing an on-call response to out-of-hours emergencies.
- Executing a wide scope of general maintenance tasks, including painting and decorating, basic plumbing and minor electrical works to a high standard.
