Job Description
As a Cleaning Team Leader you will supervise, train, and assist a cleaning team that will maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for employees and visitors who enter the Denver office.
The Facilities team is essential in supporting the positive employee and visitor experience onsite. In this role you will leverage your team leadership and custodial experience to guide the team through daily needs while ensuring a high standard of training and execution to comply with health and safety guidelines. Your ability to balance a flexible schedule, a meticulous approach to quality, and time management will be key to lead by example.
The shift will be from 6pm – 2:30am Monday through Friday with occasional weekend coverage as needed.
The pay for this role is $22.00-$25.00 hourly.
Qualifications
- Experience in employee supervision and training, specifically for custodial services.
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in an office or commercial environment.
- Good knowledge of cleaning practices, equipment, and health and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Good time management and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle basic cleaning tasks safely and efficiently.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Fluent proficiency in verbal and written English and Spanish.
Additional Information
- Supervising and assisting a team of up to 12 cleaners during shift hours.
- Conducting custodial and safety training for all crew members.
- Overseeing and assisting with cleaning office areas, desks, meeting rooms, kitchens, and toilets.
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
- Replenishing supplies and kitchen consumables where required.
- Tracking inventory for cleaning supplies and disposables.
- Cleaning of coffee machines and other kitchen equipment.
- Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues.
