The Staff Development Coordinator is a full-time RN position reporting to the Administrator. The SDC is responsible for implementing and executing the facility education and orientation programs for all employees. Responsibilities include new hire orientation, monthly education, in accordance with the facility Education Calendar for all employees, monthly nursing competencies and all other educational disciplines as needed.

Successful candidate will be an RN with at least 3 years experience in long term care, demonstrating the ability to teach, have strong interpersonal skills and the desire to enhance the educational knowledge of the staff and support their continued professional growth. The position is salaried and requires schedule flexibility to accommodate educational needs of staff on all shifts and weekends as needed.
