Job Description

Join our dynamic DevOps team, leading our company's transformation and shaping the further development of our DevOps culture within AVIV. We build top-tier infrastructure for millions of customers, empowering developers and maximizing business value. As the leader of our DevOps Engineering team, you'll set goals, plan work, and mentor the DevOps staff in the agile teams. You’ll be responsible for maintaining large-scale cloud solutions as well as managing the team of engineers in charge of it.

Qualifications

What you can expect

  • Be responsible for the functional management of an international DevOps team within the platform experience core team.
  • Be responsible for hiring, managing, mentoring, and coaching DevOps engineers.
  • Work closely with other colleagues such as architects, software, security and QA engineers to accelerate the development of our agile teams by supporting and encouraging their autonomy through our DevOps culture.
  • Ensure that our products are created with a maximum of automation and documentation by using infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
  • Ensure an exchange on DevOps topics within the AVIV and the establishment of standards and educating best practices.
  • Ensure to be responsible for establishing new processes and further developing existing ones in close cooperation with the other DevOps managers from the DevOps Center of Excellence.

About you

  • Professional experience in DevOps and leading a team in an agile environment.
  • Already worked in an environment where the public cloud (such as AWS) was used.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring and know their benefits.
  • Strong communication skills, is an interdisciplinary team player and appreciates working in agile teams.
  • Solution-oriented, systematic thinking and acting are your trademarks.
  • A passion for new challenges in a changing environment.
