Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Delivery Portfolio Manager to oversee the successful monitoring and delivery of our projects and technical transformation. The Delivery Portfolio Manager will be responsible for creating transparency on the entire delivery portfolio, supporting domains in making the right decisions, informing senior management, and resolving delivery problems. This role requires a strategic mindset, familiarity with agile delivery processes, proficiency in project management tools, and a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
The responsibilities:
- Delivery Portfolio Management: Manage the entire delivery portfolio on a company level, including planning, organizing, communicating and controlling all aspects of project delivery.
- Transparency and Reporting: Create transparency on different programs, providing cycle and multicycle views. Support teams, domains, and leadership with reporting templates and dashboards to track information. Work closely with domain leaders, program managers and ProductOPS to gather, review, and prioritize strategic initiatives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high quality and consistency of the portfolio of initiatives. Own the data quality to assure the integrity of our steering information. Continuously optimize data points for transparency and insights.
- Demand Management: Drive the demand management process and working with ProdOps to gather the right initiatives and prioritize them effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communication: Creating effective communication prior and post cycle commitment, regular progress reports with senior management as well domain leaders.
- Project Execution Support: Support project execution through analytics on data and processes.Guide project managers on processes, provide training materials and sessions, and document and guard process documentation.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Your skills:
- 5+ years of project delivery experience, with at least 3 years in Portfolio Management on an enterprise level.
- Strong agile program management delivery methodology and ability to evolve and maintain high-quality project management standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead large group meetings and present status updates to top management.
- Understanding of business requirements and ability to break down tasks into manageable parts to deliver planned value.
- Comfortable working in a tech-driven environment with virtual engagement with colleagues across Europe..
- Proficiency in project management tools, methodologies (Agile/SAFe), and software. (JIRA, Advanced RoadMap, and Tempo).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in project management.
- You have professional fluency in written & spoken English.
