Job Description

Vestcom is extending its shelf-edge data and media from print to digital, starting with in-store screens. As the Associate Product Manager, Media Solutions, you are the link between that strategy and the systems that make it work. You will map how data flows end to end, identify gaps blocking the move to digital formats, and turn those gaps into a prioritized execution plan. This is a hands-on technical product role where you will focus on data, platform capabilities, customer discovery, and business cases to ensure accurate in-store screen deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map end-to-end data flows from Vestcom source systems to in-store displays, querying data independently and confirming findings with engineering.

  • Identify gaps in data, APIs, and platform capabilities that block moving analog shelf-edge media to digital formats, and turn those gaps into a phased execution plan.

  • Write clear requirements and tickets for a clean backlog, shipping working and tested pipeline and platform changes in iterations.

  • Support QA by validating that data reaches screens correctly, while ensuring engineers understand the context of what they are building.

  • Participate in retailer and partner discovery to capture technical requirements, providing data inputs for business cases and researching in-store media channel expansion.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of media experience in a technical, data-heavy role (such as data analyst, solutions engineer, technical business analyst, APM, or similar).

  • Comfortable writing SQL, exploring unfamiliar datasets independently, and tracing how data moves between systems using API documentation and schemas.

  • Proven experience working day-to-day with engineering teams on requirements, tickets, or sprint work, utilizing clear and concise writing.

  • Practical use of AI tools in your own work, demonstrating great judgment and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

  • Preferred experience with digital signage, content management systems, grocery retail product data, or exposure to retail media networks and ad tech.
