About the role

Looking to put your chemistry background and analytical mindset into practice on real-world commercial projects? We are currently seeking a curious and collaborative Technical Marketing Intern to help turn complex scientific data into market-driven product insights. This role focuses strictly on data interpretation, literature research, and commercial strategy, so no hands-on bench testing is required!

This role bridges technical evaluation and commercial application to support real-world product development and innovation projects. As a Technical Marketing Intern, you will conduct desk research, review scientific literature, analyze lab data, and support technical documentation and product testing activities. In this position, you will help connect chemical product properties with application performance characteristics to serve customer needs. This internship is scheduled to start on the 1st of October for a duration of 6 months. The role requires a minimum commitment of 2 days per week on-site at our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest with the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct desk research and review scientific literature to support innovation and product development projects.
  • Analyze laboratory data, interpret findings, and assist in creating comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Familiarize yourself with laboratory workflows and submit lab requests to support testing pipelines.
  • Assist in product testing and Voice of Customer activities to help translate chemical properties into key performance characteristics.
  • Collaborate occasionally with R&D and commercial stakeholders on puzzle-solving and real-world product development initiatives.
