Mechanical Engineer – HPC (High-Performance Computer) Systems & Liquid Cooling in Architecture and Network Solutions | AUMOVIO Korea
Role Overview
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the mechanical architecture and liquid cooling design of high-power HPC (High-Performance Computer) systems in automotive environments.
This role covers end-to-end mechanical ownership from requirement engineering to validation and production readiness and ensure technical deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical requirement engineering and negotiate specifications with OEM customers
- Own the customer interface for all mechanical engineering topics
- Define and develop HPC mechanical architecture, including vehicle integration and thermal concepts
- Design and validate liquid cooling solutions for high heat dissipation systems
- Manage mechanical & thermal simulations (shock, vibration, thermal performance)
- Coordinate technical activities with internal cross-functional teams and external partners
- Support prototype build, testing, and industrialization readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in requirement engineering, test planning, and validation processes
- Hands-on experience with automotive ECU mechanical design
- Proven expertise in liquid cooling and thermal management (e.g., cold plate, flow distribution, sealing concepts)
- Experience with high-power HPC systems is a strong plus
- Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., vibration, IP rating, environmental validation) is preferred
