Job Description

We are looking for 3 UI/Portal .NET Developer for a client in Austin, TX

Major Responsibilities and day to day activities and/or objective for the role:

 

  • Will focus on designing, developing and testing mission critical enterprise solutions and other custom application development projects using the .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, WCF, and SQL Server

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Develop components of new applications using the Microsoft technology stack
  • Performs design, build, testing, defect resolution, and deployment tasks.
  • Prepares technical documentation per project standards and functional requirements
  • Ensures that built components adhere to approved technical designs. 
  • Performs testing per approved test plans and test cases. 
  • Peer reviews code and documentation.
  • Work closely with business analysts to understand business and functional requirements and ensure application development meets those requirements.
  • Work closely with application architects to ensure application development meets technical requirements and adheres to architecture standards.
  • Produce high-quality documentation that is accurate and consistent with current project standards.
  • Identify and escalate project issues and risks in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years as a programmer
  • 2+ years of enterprise software development
  • 2+ years of team software development
  • 2+ years of demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following:

o    .NET Framework

o    C#

o    ASP.NET

o    QA and testing procedures

o    SQL Server

  • Excellent communication skills and hands-on experience working on component based applications in a distributed environment
  • Deep Microsoft platform skills
  • Full software development lifecycle experience on enterprise-class, scalable applications

Additional Information

Job Type – Contract to hire, 6+. 

Rate - DOE
