About the Role

As a Graduate Therapist at Aspect, you will:

  • Deliver evidence-informed, person-centred therapy
  • Support autistic individuals to build practical life skills
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team
  • Partner with families, carers, and the wider community
  • Build your caseload gradually with strong supervision

Your Graduate Program Includes

  • Structured onboarding and learning modules
  • Joint and shadow sessions to build confidence
  • Webinar series covering latest evidence-based practice
  • Training in child protection, safeguarding, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Individualised supervision (clinical + operational) tailored to your needs
  • Ongoing professional development (approx. $1,000 per year FTE)

Qualifications

About You

You are:

  • In your final year (or recently completed) a degree in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy
  • Eligible for Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) or AHPRA registration
  • Passionate about supporting autistic individuals and their families
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively
  • Willing to travel locally (driver’s licence and own vehicle required – KMs reimbursed)

You will also require:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (relevant state)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete)
