Job Description

At ASOS, Product and Technology are central to how we simplify the business, improve experiences for customers, colleagues and partners, and create the capabilities needed for future growth. Our teams work across business process, data and technology to solve complex problems and deliver measurable outcomes. 

We are undertaking a significant transformation as we move from Oracle to Microsoft Dynamics and rethink how colleagues and partners interact with enterprise platforms, including through automation, AI-enabled experiences and agentic workflows. 

As a Product Manager at ASOS, you’ll work across functions to define meaningful outcomes, simplify how the business operates and lead teams from discovery through delivery, adoption and continuous improvement. 

You’ll join our Fashion Product Team, which supports internal customers across business, operations and supplier functions. The team’s broad remit spans the products, platforms, data and processes that help colleagues and suppliers work effectively across the product lifecycle, from product and supplier setup through ordering, inbounding and operational support. 

This role follows a hybrid working model, with an expectation that you will work on-site from our London office three days per week, enabling close collaboration with business, operational, product and technology teams. 

The Details 

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join ASOS on a maternity-cover contract and lead complex product activity to support within a major organisational and ERP transformation. You’ll work across business process, technology, data and change to help the organisation move from Oracle to Microsoft Dynamics, while improving how teams operate and interact with enterprise systems. The role will include capabilities related to retail item data and attribution, and the connected processes that take a product from finalisation and range readiness through to ordering. The successful candidate will need to become effective quickly, create clarity across interconnected workstreams and maintain momentum through a period of significant change. 

  • Shape data structures for retail item data and attribution, including the quality, completeness and governance of the product information required by upstream & downstream business processes. 
  • Lead current-state and future-state discovery, challenging unnecessary complexity and ensuring processes are simplified before they are digitised or automated. 
  • Understand and improve the connected processes from product finalisation and range readiness through item setup, ordering and the creation of purchase orders. 
  • Translate business outcomes and operational needs into clear product requirements, process changes, data needs and technology decisions. 
  • Work closely with transformation leadership, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Buying and Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations and change teams to manage dependencies and delivery risk. 
  • Support migration readiness across process, item data, integrations, controls, testing, cutover, business adoption and post-launch optimisation. 
  • Establish clear measures of readiness and value, using evidence to surface gaps, drive decisions and hold teams to account for agreed outcomes. 
  • Create structured narratives for senior stakeholders, making complex decisions and trade-offs understandable and actionable. 
  • Build trusted relationships across senior leadership, operational, business and technology teams. Bring constructive challenge, use evidence to test assumptions, and be prepared to push back respectfully when proposals add unnecessary complexity, weaken the intended outcome or do not represent the best use of organisational capacity. 

Qualifications

  • A strong track record of simplifying complex business processes before translating them into scalable product capabilities. 
  • Proven ability to move quickly between business and technology mindsets, translating effectively between operational needs, product outcomes and technical constraints. 
  • Strong stakeholder leadership, with experience influencing senior leaders and working closely with operational, business and technology teams. 
  • The confidence and judgement to challenge constructively, push back respectfully and create alignment around evidence-based decisions. 
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and successful delivery depends on creating clarity from ambiguity. 
  • Strong analytical capability and a commitment to using data, operational evidence and measurable outcomes to guide decisions. 
  • Substantial experience leading product activity within organisational transformation, ERP implementation or large-scale systems migration. 
  • Experience working with retail item, product master, catalogue or attribution data, including how product information supports downstream operational and commercial processes. 
  • Understanding of the end-to-end processes connecting product finalisation, item setup or range readiness through to ordering and purchase order creation. 
  • Experience working across process redesign, data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, adoption or business readiness. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly preferable; strong experience with another enterprise ERP is also relevant. 
  • A proven ability to join a complex programme, build context rapidly and establish credibility across senior and delivery-level stakeholders.
