Job Description
Who You'll Work With
We are experiencing tremendous growth and have an immediate need for a Junior Administrator to join our sales team and help keep our quoting and order paperwork running smoothly. You’ll learn how a hi-tech networking business operates from the inside — preparing customer quotes, processing orders, and supporting the wider sales team with day-to-day admin.
No networking background needed; we’ll train you on our products and systems. We’re really looking for someone organised, accurate, and keen to learn.
This position is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.
What You'll Do
- Prepare customer quotations using templates and price lists, under guidance from senior sales staff.
- Enter and update orders in our CRM/ERP system once approved.
- Keep customer and order records accurate and up to date.
- Help track outstanding quotes and orders, and chase for updates internally.
- Handle routine paperwork: filing contracts, sending order confirmations, basic invoicing support.
- Respond to simple customer queries by email/phone, escalating anything technical to the right person.
- Support the wider sales team with general admin — diary management, document prep, data entry.
- Liaise with distributors/suppliers on simple requests (e.g. confirming stock or delivery dates).

Qualifications
- Good attention to detail, especially with numbers and written communication.
- Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets and happy to learn new software systems.
- Well organised, able to manage a few tasks at once and follow processes accurately.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to ask questions and learn.
- Good written and spoken English for customer-facing correspondence.
Desirable (not required — training provided):
- Some office admin or customer service experience (even part-time/Saturday job experience counts).
- Interest in IT or technology.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- We don’t expect candidates to have networking knowledge or admin experience in this exact field — this role is designed as a starting point, with full training given on our products, pricing and systems.
