Job Description
The HR Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing various HR processes to support, standardize and strengthen the Reinsurance and Investments segments, and ensure they are aligned with the long-term goals of the HR team. The Operations Analyst will interface as required to support Head of HR, the segments’ HRBPs and the People Operations team and other Arch Capital Group’s HR COEs ensuring that Arch Reinsurance and Investments are appropriately represented on Group initiatives and programs involving HRIS or other platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and provide day-to-day support to all business processes and transactions in Workday pertaining to the employee life cycle, including but not limited to onboarding, promotions, transfers and other related transactions.
- Key point of triage for all Workday changes managed through the enhancement tracker
- Use the Workday Community site to troubleshoot and identify ways to better utilize the system.
- Assist with Workday adoption through training for managers and HR
- Work with the People Operations team to ensure best practice data management principles are embedded within all processes.
- Facilitate, support, and/or manage key HR programs that are aligned with business objectives working closely with key program owners including, but not limited to: compensation, performance, talent management, intern program, employee recognition, and training and development
- Design, develop and/or deliver reports and dashboards that enable the team to monitor HR metrics and analyze workforce trends; Recommend solutions or alternate methods of reporting to better support the business needs.
- Maintain general regulatory and legislative knowledge relating to HR policies and practices across the supported jurisdictions.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 4 years of directly related HR experience
- Minimum of 2+ years experience Workday experience; knowledge of core HCM, time & absence, and onboarding/off-boarding modules are a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be exceptionally detail oriented and client service focused
- Exceptional organizational and process improvement skills
- Fundamental understanding of various HR programs
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Must be experienced in effectively managing complexities in workload and multiple levels of leadership
- SHRM-CP or CIPD designation preferred
