Schedule: Night Shift

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our People Operations team. This position reports to the VP, HR Technology and works closely with stakeholders across multiple disciples withing IT, HR, vendor partners, and other key stakeholders.  

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for supporting complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery. This role ensures alignment with strategic goals, manages stakeholder expectations, and drives execution excellence across multiple workstreams. The Senior PM will support project planning and management, risk mitigation, performance tracking, while fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Leads project management activities for HR technology implementations, enhancements, or other related system and/or process related projects.
  • Leads cross-functional HRIS projects (i.e Workday, AI-Driven HR Tools, etc) and other people technology solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Conducts stakeholder meetings and maintains detailed meeting minutes.
  • Creates and distributes weekly/monthly project status reports and dashboards for project team, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinates with IT, HR business partners, vendors, and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitors project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manages stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and transparent reporting.
  • Coordinates efforts across departments to ensure seamless execution and issue resolution.
  • Tracks and follows up on action items from meetings, ensuring accountability and timely completion.
  • Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including decisions, changes, and lessons learned.

Risk & Change Management

  • Identifies potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manages scope changes and ensure proper documentation and communication of impacts

System Administration & Support

  • Coordinates scheduling for project teams, stakeholders, and vendor meetings across multiple time zones.
  • Spearheads user acceptance testing activities: developing test cases where applicable, creating and managing testing schedule, developing testing metrics dashboards, tracking test case execution, and distributing testing status. 
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, training programs, and change management activities where applicable.
  • Develop end user documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain project repositories and ensure all stakeholders have access to current information.
  • Track project deliverables and ensure quality assurance processes are followed.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Understanding of HR technology ecosystem and integration capabilities.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably in HR technology or enterprise software implementations
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheets, MS Project, PowerBI).
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Collaborative approach with ability to influence without authority.
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
