Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Coffee Shop Supervisor to join our team in Walthamstow, London, E17. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take ownership of a busy coffee shop within a college environment, leading by example and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Job Description

As a Coffee Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the coffee shop, ensuring excellent standards of customer service, food and beverage quality, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking control of a busy coffee shop within a college environment
  • Managing daily supplies, stock levels, and ordering requirements
  • Serving customers and ensuring an excellent customer experience at all times
  • Supporting management with the smooth running of the operation
  • Supervising and supporting team members during service
  • Delegating tasks and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
  • Operating tills and handling cash and card transactions accurately
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation
  • Monitoring stock rotation and minimising waste
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and visitors

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory role
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Experience delegating responsibilities and supporting team members
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Cash handling and till operation experience
  • Ability to work confidently in a busy environment
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
