We are currently recruiting for a friendly and enthusiastic General Service Assistant to join our team at RAF Boulmer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a busy kitchen and food service environment, supporting the culinary team and helping to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and service
• Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy kitchen environment
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen, dining, and food service areas
• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
• Assisting with stock replenishment, deliveries, and storage of goods
• Supporting food production and preparation as directed by the chefs
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Ensuring work areas are clean, organised, and ready for service
• Working as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and food provision

What we're looking for

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Previous catering, hospitality, kitchen, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
• Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service

Additional information

• Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work
• The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
