We are currently recruiting for a motivated and customer-focused Wait Staff Lead to join our team at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading by example, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the smooth running of a prestigious dining operation.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and supporting the front of house team during service
• Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers
• Supervising daily hospitality and dining room operations
• Assisting with the organisation and coordination of service to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Training, coaching, and supporting team members
• Monitoring cleanliness, presentation, and service standards across all front of house areas
• Supporting hospitality events and special functions when required
• Ensuring food safety, allergen, and health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory management where required

Building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a hospitality, catering, restaurant, or customer service environment
• Experience supervising or leading a team is desirable
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and support colleagues to deliver excellent service
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Professional and positive approach to work
• Ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods
• Flexible approach to working variable shifts
• Commitment to maintaining high service standards

Additional Requirements

• Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a DBS check
• Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Vetting
